We are still awaiting funeral details but Chris Dixon passed on this information.
I’m waiting for the details of his funeral, but it appears there will be a grave side service at Hollybush Cemetry, Cwmbran.

We would both like to convey our heartfelt condolences to all family and friends of Ian. Both Philip and I both played Ian on a number of occasions over the years and always enjoyed tough tactical battles, but always with sportsmanship in mind. Ian was always happy to have a chat later over a drink and will be remembered by us both as a gentleman and a friend to chess in Gwent. John and Philip Marshall.
