Since the league tables are now being hosted here, I decided to update the site. Please let me know what you think.

  1. Newport and County Chess Club were saddened to hear the passing of
    Nigel Granville on Friday 11.12.20
    Nigel was a member of our club for 30 years
    He loved his Chess and will very much missed by all who knew him He was only 56 years old
    Due to Covid restrictions a private family funeral service will take place. R I P Nigel
